Privacy Notice
How Sadai Haus collects, uses, and protects the information you share with us — on this site and on our booking site.
Who's responsible for your data
Sadai Haus (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal information collected through this site, our booking site (book.sadaihaus.com), and the salon itself. We're a small, real place — not a faceless company — and we look after your information the way we'd want ours looked after: kept only as long as it's useful, and never sold. What we collect
When you book online, we ask for: your name; your phone number; whether that number is on WhatsApp; an email address, if you'd like a confirmation by email; a note for your stylist, if you have one; the services, add-ons and time you choose; and the language you're browsing in. We also set a small cookie that remembers where your booking came from (src) for 30 days, so we know which page sent you to us — nothing more.
Why we collect it
We use this information for one job: looking after your appointment. That means holding your slot, sending you reminders before your visit, emailing you a confirmation if you asked for one, and letting our front-desk team know who's coming in and when. We don't use it to build a profile of you, and we don't sell you anything you didn't ask for.
Where it's stored
Your booking lives in a Supabase database hosted in Tokyo. A copy is mirrored to a private Google Calendar our staff use to plan the day. Reminders and confirmations are sent by n8n, an automation tool that runs on our own private server — not a public service. A new booking also raises a short alert in our team's private Telegram, so whoever's at the counter knows you're coming.
How long we keep it
We keep booking records for accounting and service history — so if you come back next year, we can look up what you had done. If you'd like your information deleted sooner, message us and we'll take care of it, subject to anything Thai law requires us to keep (such as tax records).
Who we share it with
We never sell your information. It's shared only with the services above that help us run the booking — Supabase (database), Google (calendar), n8n (automation, self-hosted), Telegram (team alerts), and our email provider, Resend, if you asked for a confirmation email. Each handles only what it needs to do its own job.
Cookies & Google Analytics
Both sadaihaus.com and our booking site use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand which pages are useful and where guests come from. GA4 sets its own cookies for this. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking through your browser settings or an extension such as Google's own opt-out add-on — it won't affect your ability to book.
Your rights under Thai PDPA
Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act, you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything that's wrong, ask us to delete it, and withdraw your consent at any time. If you feel we haven't handled your data properly, you also have the right to complain to Thailand's Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC).
